Chief Consultant - Erik Gmelig Meyling
Erik’s background story;
Born and raised in northern regions of The Netherlands as the son of a successful banker.
Erik developed during his younger years a passion for business and retail management.
After finishing his lower en mid education, Erik noticed that the school benches were limiting his creative and entrepreneurial mindset. From a young adult age Erik started working and gaining experience within multiple corporate telecom enterprises next to his study of Commercial Economics. Nevertheless graduated Erik successfully in 2007 from the NTI University in Leiden, The Netherlands.
Erik’s talent was not going by unnoticed as he was asked to actively consult and assist the Dutch Ministry of Justice in 2006-2008 in a commercialization and professionalization project of the labor facilities within the Dutch penitentiary system and to make them more attractive as a national outsourcing source and more competitive with the dutch social labor facilities. This was Erik’s first big step into independent commercial consulting, which tasted for more.
In the years 2006 to 2013, Erik ran next to his starting independent consulting firm a successful media company in the Netherlands, which started in 2008 as a side “hobby” project next to his independent consultancy work, but resulted by the end of 2013 in a team of more than 20 employees and freelancers around him.
By the end of 2013, Erik sold off his company to a regional competitor and relocated himself to Kyiv, Ukraine, and continued his consultancy practice within the Ukrainian IT industry.
Erik as Entrepreneur and Business consultant is best to be described as;
A person with a good dose of non-nonsense boots-on-the-ground mentality, highly developed people/soft skills coupled with a high level of goal orientation. Brings forth with him a broad in-depth experience and knowledge in the subject matters of; business strategy, sales, marketing, human resources, operations, and leadership.
