Erik F.A. Gmelig Meyling, MSc

Erik F.A. Gmelig Meyling is a Dutch business consultant, interim executive and crisis-management expert with more than twenty years of experience across corporate, SME and government environments. A commercial economist by training, he combines board-level strategic thinking with something far rarer in the advisory market: genuine operating experience. He has founded, grown and sold companies, carried P&L responsibility as CEO, and led organisations through rapid expansion, reorganisation and crisis.

His track record spans three markets. In the Netherlands: corporate telecoms, advisory to the Dutch Ministry of Justice on the commercialisation of the national penitentiary labour facilities, and the founding, growth and sale of a twenty-person media company. In Ukraine, his operating base since 2013: six years as CEO and owner of a boutique BPO company, interim executive mandates across the IT sector, the end-to-end launch of three multi-million-dollar commercial real-estate projects, and advisory to a security-SaaS start-up through to its acquisition by a global enterprise. In Germany: executive crisis-management training for corporate clients in pharmaceuticals, financial services, automotive and manufacturing.
